Job Description

Culligan of Canada is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Water Treatment Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling water treatment applications to residential customers in a professional and straightforward manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell water treatment applications to residential customers, execute Culligan's proven sales presentation process, and complete full product demonstrations.
  • Lead Generation: Seek out self-generated new customer leads, initiate sales calls, and maintain sales quotas.
  • Customer Support: Respond to current customers' needs, follow up with new customers pre-installation and post-sale of product, and discuss all products on a clearly understood level.
  • Community Involvement: Become known in the community through involvement in the local Chamber of Commerce and/or other civic organizations.
  • Performance Management: Set personal performance goals, be creative in attempts to achieve them, and communicate with the Sales Manager on leads and scheduled appointments.
Requirements:
  • Education: Post-Secondary education in Marketing or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience: Prior experience with residential territories, previous experience in the water industry or with residential sales is a definite asset.
  • Skills: Versatile self-starter, ability to work independently with minimum supervision, positive attitude, work ethic, strong interpersonal and good written and oral communication skills, pleasant, professional, and friendly customer service demeanor.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, valid driver's license, clean driving record, and access to your own transportation.
