Job Opportunity

Crown Paper Group is seeking a skilled Millwright/4th Class Power Engineer to join our team. As a member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of industrial experience, proficiency in communication, and the ability to work effectively with various departments and vendors. Red Seal Millwright certification is a must, and experience with paper industry machinery is preferred.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $48.26 per hour, plus afternoon and graveyard shift differentials. Our comprehensive health care plan includes drug cards, vision care, life insurance, and dental coverage. You will also receive up to 7 weeks of vacation, pending years of service, and 14 paid stat holidays per year.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including steam recovery systems and fire tube boilers.
  • Collaborate with the Operations group and other departments to ensure seamless equipment operation.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failure.
  • Work effectively with vendors and contractors to resolve equipment-related issues.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of industrial experience.
  • Red Seal Millwright certification.
  • Experience with paper industry machinery is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Shift Rotation:

  • Day: 7:00am – 3:00pm
  • Afternoon: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
  • Graveyard: 11:00pm – 7:00am
