About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at River Rock Casino Resort. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including the casino, hotel, theatre, and marina.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including inspections, repairs, and testing
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, property, and general building systems
  • Inspect facilities for safety hazards and repair or maintain as necessary
  • Provide exceptional guest service and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
  • Complete all work orders as assigned and communicate effectively with management
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Requirements

  • 4th Class Power engineering or 5th Class Power Engineering plus Refrigeration Endorsement
  • Good working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, and general facility repairs
  • Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel when required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to successfully obtain a GPEB license
  • Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve a Serving It Right Certification
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
