Your Role

As a member of our Civil Team, you will work alongside experienced professionals and have the opportunity to expand your career while being part of a community that values taking care of its employees and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
  • Field work, including investigations, topographic survey, and construction inspection
  • Prepare and verify compliance with contract drawings and specifications
  • Develop and review plans and specifications
  • Investigate and gather information and industry standards
  • Complete quantity and cost estimating
  • Create specifications, guidelines, and report on study findings
  • Design, draft, and model infrastructure scenarios
  • Attend meetings and liaison with stakeholders
  • Develop proposals and reports
  • Project and client management
Requirements
  • Valid class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Diploma in Civil Technology or Degree in Engineering
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Understanding of construction principles, standard practices, and regulations
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
  • Assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands
  • Document written forms and express decisions effectively
  • Ability to read and interpret standard procedures, applicable rules, and regulations
