About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Field Engineer to join our team at 09 Irving Oil Limited. As a key member of our Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) Engineering Services Group, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our project execution team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review work orders for design specifications, material requirements, and project data to ensure quality and specification compliance.
  • Provide technical input for project planning and scheduling, identifying risk elements that could negatively impact the budget or schedule.
  • Ensure requests for information (RFI's) and field change notice (FCN's) are quickly addressed and closed.
  • Work closely with Engineering Services and Contractors to resolve and/or mitigate design and constructability issues.
  • Meet daily with Project Execution Group to stay up to date on project construction progress.
  • Reconcile punch items with field coordinators and contractors at the end of the project.
  • Verify that civil/structural work is completed and adequately reviewed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • P.Eng. or eligible for P.Eng. status in NB.
  • 5+ years of Civil/Structural experience in the Heavy Industrial Sector.
