Your Contribution

As part of our dynamic Civil Engineering team, you'll collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to impactful projects across Atlantic Canada. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping infrastructure solutions that benefit communities and the environment.

Responsibilities
  • Promote Englobe's health and safety protocols
  • Conduct field work, including investigations, topographic surveys, and construction inspections
  • Ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications
  • Develop and review plans and specifications
  • Research industry standards and propose innovative methods and strategies
  • Prepare quantity and cost estimates
  • Create specifications, guidelines, and reports on study findings
  • Design, draft, and model various infrastructure scenarios
  • Attend meetings and liaise with stakeholders
  • Develop proposals and reports
  • Manage projects and client relationships
Your Profile

To excel in this role, you'll possess:

  • A valid class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
  • A Diploma in Civil Technology or a Degree in Engineering. Previous construction or industry experience is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Understanding of construction principles, standard practices, and regulations
  • Commitment to occupational health and safety
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively
