Your Role

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team in Atlantic Canada. As a key member of our Civil Team, you will work alongside experienced professionals, expanding your career while being part of a community that values employee well-being and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety protocols
  • Conduct field work, including investigations, topographic surveys, and construction inspections
  • Prepare and verify compliance with contract drawings and specifications
  • Develop and review plans and specifications
  • Investigate and gather information, proposing new methods and strategies
  • Complete quantity and cost estimating
  • Create specifications, guidelines, and report on study findings
  • Design, draft, and model infrastructure scenarios
  • Attend meetings and liaise with stakeholders
  • Develop proposals and reports
  • Project and client management
Requirements
  • A valid class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
  • A Diploma in Civil Technology or a Degree in Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Understanding of construction principles, standard practices, and regulations
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
  • Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands
