Culinary Operations Supervisor

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that all activities align with company standards and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
- Conditions: The work environment can be noisy and may involve exposure to various food odours.
- Setting: The position is based in a fast food outlet or restaurant.
- Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Train staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service meet established standards.
- Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates for operations.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules for kitchen staff.
The Kitchen Manager will supervise a team of 3-10 staff members, including general cooks.
Transportation RequirementsPersonal transportation is necessary for this role.

- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required.
