Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Andersen Inn & Suites. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and manage a team of hotel staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities and providing excellent service to our guests.
- Co-ordinate and assign tasks to team members, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Guest Services
- Assist guests with special needs, ensuring that their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operations and Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of hotel equipment and systems, ensuring that they are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Requisition materials and supplies as needed, ensuring that the hotel is well-stocked and equipped to meet the needs of our guests.
- Human Resources
- Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service to our guests.
- Manage staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a hotel management or supervisory role
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The Hotel Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines to meet. The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism and composure in all situations.
