About the Opportunity

The School of Nursing in Dalhousie's Faculty of Health invites applications for a full-time, 2-year limited term faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, specializing in Community/Population Health/Family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate students in community/population health/family
  • Mentor/advise graduate students
  • Develop and deliver courses in interprofessional education, online, context-based, and/or clinical simulation learning

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
  • Master's degree in Nursing and/or another health discipline; PhD prepared an asset
  • Demonstrated commitment to developing excellence in teaching and practice
  • Four to five years' clinical and teaching experience in community/population health/family
  • Eligibility for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
