Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at the Dalhousie Student Health & Wellness Centre in Halifax.
Our Centre is committed to providing high-quality primary and mental health care services to both community patients and students. We strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment where physicians can thrive and make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our diverse patient population.
Your Role- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages and health conditions.
- Manage your own patient workload effectively and maintain a high standard of practice.
- Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, counsellors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Participate in on-call services for clinic patients, ensuring continuity of care outside regular hours.
- Utilize our electronic medical record system (Accuro) to accurately document patient information and ensure seamless communication within the team.
You will be part of a dynamic and experienced interprofessional team dedicated to providing holistic healthcare. We offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Schedule & CompensationThis is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options within the Centre's operating hours. Compensation is based on a fee-for-service model, with 25% of billings allocated to overhead costs.
