Bakery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team at Frontier Bakery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain efficient production.
- Baking and Quality Control: Bake mixed dough and batters, and ensure that all products meet established standards of quality and presentation.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Team Leadership: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure that the team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Production Planning: Draw up production schedules to ensure that products are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of production, including product preparation, presentation, and quality control.
- Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency, including baking, mixing, and packaging.
- Work under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet production deadlines and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all products meet customer expectations.
- Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic, and be committed to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve common goals and objectives.
