About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Alberta Financial Services Corporation. As a key member of our Digital Services Foundation team, you will be responsible for monitoring and performing frontline systems diagnostics, assisting in problem resolution of AFSC's Technology Infrastructure, and providing key services to AFSC clients in a multi-provincial model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and perform frontline systems diagnostics as part of the Digital Services Foundation team
  • Assist in problem resolution of AFSC's Technology Infrastructure in accordance with AFSC's best practices
  • Provide on-call advice and assistance to users to resolve accurately assigned Service Desk calls within the agreed service levels
  • Develop and support installation/implementation, and recommend system changes and enhancements as required
  • Collaborate with other Digital Services team members, Infrastructure Operations Analysts, Database Analysts, and Digital Services Maintenance
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science or Technology
  • 5 years of IT systems administrative experience
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor environment is considered a definite asset
