Job Summary

Taylor Steel Inc. is a leading steel service center that provides high-quality, value-added flat rolled steel to customers across North America. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Account Manager to join our team in Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow new and existing relationships with customers in Western Canada, with a focus on increasing sales and revenue.
  • Proactively identify and analyze new business opportunities, and work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that customer needs are met, and that sales and profit targets are achieved.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, and work to build strong relationships with customers to drive long-term growth and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and decisions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of sales experience in the steel industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of the flat rolled steel market, including market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Western Canada.
