Key Responsibilities- Develop and grow new and existing relationships with customers in Western Canada, with a focus on increasing sales and revenue.
- Proactively identify and analyze new business opportunities, and work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that customer needs are met, and that sales and profit targets are achieved.
- Provide exceptional customer service, and work to build strong relationships with customers to drive long-term growth and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and decisions.
- Minimum 3-4 years of sales experience in the steel industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of the flat rolled steel market, including market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Western Canada.
