Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a positive experience in our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate kitchen equipment and appliances to prepare food and beverages.
  • Cash Handling and Point of Sale
    • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point of sale system.
    • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure that all guests receive a positive experience in our restaurants.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Sanitation and Safety
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
    • Ensure that all equipment and appliances are properly cleaned and maintained.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and requires standing for extended periods. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
