Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Support Specialist to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Equity Trading desk, you will be responsible for facilitating the trade process, providing analysis for process improvement, and applying your knowledge and skills to perform assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Correspond with Global Equity clients regarding trade matching, allocation, and settlement of equity trades
  • Trade allocation for Foreign and Domestic clients
  • Oversee client trade matching and settlement issues for Foreign and Domestic clients
  • Amend trading issues for Foreign and Domestic clients
  • Update and open client accounts
  • Provide operational support for corporate clients' NCIB and ATM programs
  • Process ETF subscription and redemption requests
  • Develop project management procedures and tools for major activities
  • Determine needs and suggest solutions for administrative improvements in procedures, processes, or systems
  • Identify needs and suggest solutions for customization or alterations of technical tools to support unusual or new business requirements
  • Collect and analyze information

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organization and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Canadian Securities Course or any Canadian Securities Institute Courses
  • Proficiency in French
