Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at HASTY MARKET. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales floor, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
- Customer Service and Sales
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying opportunities to increase sales and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Inventory Management and Merchandising
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve store appearance.
- Financial Management
- Authorize payments and manage cash handling procedures to ensure accurate and efficient financial transactions.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to store management.
- Store Operations and Maintenance
- Ensure the store is maintained in a clean and safe condition, including maintaining inventory and supplies.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve store operations and efficiency.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail management role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
