Job Summary

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, teaching interest or professional development courses, and authorizing payments by cheque. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ordering merchandise, authorizing the return of merchandise, establishing work schedules, selling merchandise, and preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.

Work Environment

The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
