Regional Sales Manager, Premium Market

At Oliver & Bonacini, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence in the hospitality industry. Our Regional Sales Manager role is a pivotal blend of sales acumen and team leadership, overseeing various properties across Canada.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Regional Sales Manager will:
- Oversee the performance and growth of assigned business units, ensuring financial targets are consistently surpassed.
- Participate in the leadership team, contributing to the strategic direction and fostering a positive environment for all team members.
- Provide mentorship to event sales managers and assist the national director with designated tasks.
- Lead a team of Event Specialists, ensuring that both individual and collective objectives are achieved.
- Implement a robust sales strategy aimed at existing clients, driving annual sales goals through meticulous planning.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to facilitate hiring and training processes for assigned units.
- Engage in proactive business development, expanding the sales reach to properties nationwide.
- Act as a liaison between event specialists and operational departments to ensure seamless communication.
- Utilize company tools for forecasting and planning, while monitoring guest experiences to identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Seek out new business prospects through cold calling and networking.
- Communicate the vision of the business unit effectively, motivating team members to achieve outstanding results.
- Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, demonstrating creativity and proactivity in overcoming challenges.
- Manage all aspects of business operations, including marketing strategies, systems, hiring, training, and development.
- Conduct national team sales meetings in the absence of the director.
- Oversee menu development for properties, collaborating with Operations, Business Ops, and Marketing to drive sales growth.
- Plan and execute the annual promotional calendar in partnership with marketing and the national director.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in event sales, with a proven track record of sales growth and team leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken French.
- The ability to inspire and motivate a team while consistently exceeding sales targets.
- A degree from a college or university, preferably in a hospitality-related field.
- Knowledge of menu development and event planning.
- A robust client database and the ability to leverage relationships to enhance the Oliver & Bonacini brand.
- Strong creative and critical thinking skills for effective decision-making.
