We are currently seeking a Shared Services Team Lead to oversee our Payroll department. This role is a temporary position to cover maternity leave. Key responsibilities include:

  • Formulating and executing a strategic vision for Shared Services that aligns with corporate goals.
  • Managing daily operations of HR Shared Services and Payroll.
  • Mentoring and developing team members within Shared Services.
  • Fostering a collaborative and motivating workplace culture.
  • Creating and analyzing reports to enhance Shared Services performance.
  • Identifying and implementing process enhancements to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Overseeing HRIS configuration and integration projects, along with other assigned projects.
  • Collaborating with the Internal Communications Department to develop training and communication materials related to Shared Services and HRIS.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of payroll experience.
  • A college diploma or advanced studies in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the retail sector is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems (Ceridian Dayforce is a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
  • Spanish language skills are an asset.
