About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at United Car Sales. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Issues: Use your technical expertise to identify and fix problems with truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Inspect and Test Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units.
  • Communicate with Supervisors: Discuss work with supervisors to determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer excellent customer service, advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Estimate Costs: Accurately estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with dusty, dirty, and noisy conditions.
  • Work Setting: Garage or similar work setting.
