Position: Business Development Manager - HVAC
Carrier Enterprise Canada is a prominent subsidiary of Watsco, Inc., the largest independent distributor in the HVAC/R industry globally. We specialize in the distribution of renowned brands such as Carrier, Bryant, and Payne, catering to both Commercial and Residential markets, alongside a comprehensive range of aftermarket parts, supplies, and accessories. We are currently seeking applications for the role of Business Development Manager.
Reporting To: Commercial Sales Manager
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving designated sales targets and enhancing market share for our Aftermarket Parts and HVAC equipment.
- Identifying and engaging new clients and dealers to expand market coverage.
- Fostering robust client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proactively exploring new business channels and supporting retail strategies.
- Introducing potential clients and dealers to our product offerings.
- Providing accurate quotes and relaying market insights to the organization.
- Keeping clients informed about product availability and order statuses.
- Delivering product information and support to customers.
- Assisting the credit department with debt collection and dispute resolution.
- Providing backup support to the Counter team as necessary.
- Submitting weekly sales performance reports.
- Participating in after-hours customer support services.
- Coordinating and facilitating customer training sessions with vendor assistance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in HVAC/R sales.
- Post-secondary education in HVAC or a related field.
- Self-motivated, organized, and determined individual with a strong sales drive.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service-focused approach.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems.
- Demonstrated negotiation, sales, and leadership skills.
