Position Overview

Procter & Gamble Canada is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Specialist to join our team on a full-time, temporary contract. This role will primarily focus on the Quebec East region, specifically in areas such as Montreal Central, North, South, and Quebec City. A company vehicle will be provided, as this position entails approximately 20% travel to various retail locations.

The Regional Supply Chain Specialist (RSS) is responsible for spearheading the formulation and implementation of availability strategies at both the store and regional levels, aimed at meeting corporate sales objectives. This position complements the efforts of the dedicated merchandising team by offering specialized knowledge and focus to develop and execute systematic solutions that enhance product availability, sales performance, and compliance with display standards at Walmart locations, thereby driving revenue for P&G Grooming.

Key Responsibilities:

Cultivate a thorough understanding of P&G's business goals, grooming category dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscape. Establish effective collaboration with the Regional Availability Manager to identify challenges and opportunities, devising solutions that boost point-of-sale performance, inventory levels, sales, and display adherence in targeted stores. Assume accountability for all stores within the designated territory, prioritizing them based on potential growth opportunities. Foster relationships with Department, Store, and Zone management, as well as Market AP leaders, to ensure alignment on systematic solutions. Formulate action plans and engage with relevant store, market, and regional contacts to guarantee the integration of solutions. Strategically plan store visits to achieve desired outcomes efficiently and cost-effectively. Gather data, insights, and feedback for regular reporting and the development of business case studies. Participate in quarterly team meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent professional experience. Bilingual proficiency in French is required. Must be located in or willing to relocate to the designated territory. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. A valid driver’s license is necessary, with the ability to drive for extended periods. Regional travel within the province is required 1-2 times per month.
