Communitech operates in a hybrid model, emphasizing the importance of in-person interactions. Our team members are encouraged to work from our facilities a minimum of two days each week, while enjoying a flexible, people-centered workplace that promotes work-life balance.
As the Senior Manager of Founder Success, reporting to the Director of Founder Services, you will engage with a diverse range of Scale-up and Startup member companies. Your primary objective will be to identify their needs by liaising with key stakeholders, evaluating organizational requirements, and providing guidance or connecting them with necessary resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture trusted relationships with leadership teams and key stakeholders within assigned member companies
- Facilitate connections to relevant internal and external resources by gaining a comprehensive understanding of their needs
- Offer strategic business insights to assist companies in their growth and scaling efforts
- Link companies with our network of coaching professionals and programs as appropriate
- Serve as the primary contact for specific matters related to assigned members
- Assist in the annual validation of member lists
- Develop and enhance a supportive community for founders, including organizing quarterly gatherings and maintaining regular communication
- Identify emerging trends and challenges within company verticals to inform program development
- Document client interactions in our CRM system
- Contribute to various projects and initiatives as required, with responsibilities subject to change
Qualifications
- Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels, particularly with executive and C-suite members
- Experience in product development, project management, marketing, and/or sales, with a focus on bringing products to market and driving growth
- Sales experience is advantageous
- Strong understanding of the customer discovery process
- Experience in delivering client-centric solutions tailored to the needs of scaling ventures
- Preferred background in leading teams and businesses
- Knowledge and experience in building and sustaining peer communities
- Adaptable and responsive to shifting priorities and requirements
- Collaborative team player who contributes to shared objectives
- Creative problem-solver with innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Genuine passion for supporting and nurturing startups and scaling companies
- Familiarity with the Canadian tech ecosystem and beyond
- Experience in customer success management or related fields is a plus
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
- Strong analytical capabilities
