Communitech operates in a hybrid model, emphasizing the importance of in-person collaboration. Our team members are encouraged to engage in onsite activities at our Kitchener facility at least two days a week, while we also prioritize flexibility to support work-life balance.

As the Senior Manager of Founder Success, reporting to the Director of Founder Services, you will collaborate closely with a diverse range of Scale-up and Startup member organizations. Your primary objective will be to identify their needs through engagement with key stakeholders, evaluate organizational requirements, and provide strategic guidance or connect them with relevant resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture trusted relationships with leadership teams and key stakeholders within assigned member organizations
  • Link companies to suitable internal and external resources by developing a comprehensive understanding of their needs
  • Offer strategic business insights to facilitate growth and scalability
  • Connect companies with our network of coaching professionals and relevant programs
  • Serve as the primary contact for matters related to assigned members
  • Support the annual validation of the member list
  • Foster a supportive community around founders, including organizing quarterly gatherings and maintaining regular communication
  • Identify emerging trends and challenges to inform program development
  • Document client interactions in our CRM system
  • Engage in additional projects and initiatives as required. Responsibilities may evolve over time.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels, particularly with executive and C-suite personnel
  • Experience in product development, project management, marketing, and/or sales, with a track record of bringing products to market
  • Preferred experience in sales
  • Strong understanding of the customer discovery process
  • Experience in delivering client-centric solutions tailored to the needs of scaling ventures
  • Preferred background in leading teams and businesses
  • Knowledge and experience in building and sustaining peer communities
  • Adaptable and responsive to shifting priorities and requirements
  • Collaborative team player with a focus on collective objectives
  • Ability to devise innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Genuine enthusiasm for supporting and nurturing startups and scaling companies
  • Familiarity with the Canadian tech ecosystem and beyond
  • Experience in customer success management or related fields is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
  • Strong analytical capabilities
