Position Summary:
An accomplished Insurance Agent is in search of a dedicated professional to fulfill the role of Administrative Coordinator. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is eager to contribute to our agency's growth through meaningful interactions and exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess client needs, and promote suitable products and services.
  • Deliver timely, precise, and courteous customer support, which may involve addressing inquiries about insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims processing, and billing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to office procedures and implement new processes as necessary.
  • Facilitate training sessions within the office and support onboarding for new hires.
  • Assist the Agency Financial Services Manager with training initiatives.
  • Develop and manage work schedules.
  • Disseminate HR policies to staff.
  • Oversee the agency's banking requirements.
  • Coordinate daily office activities among all personnel.
  • Participate in the quarterly evaluation of team members.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in sales (including outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing).
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Current Property & Casualty license is required.

This position is with an independent contractor agent who is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network. The employees of this agent are not employees of Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Independent contractor agents are responsible for all employment decisions regarding their staff.
