About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Iree Community Agency Inc. as an Administrative Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events to support the agency's goals and objectives.
  • Office Operations: Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff and clients.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients and staff, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Administrative Support: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, as well as maintain accurate records and files.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Reception: Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 35 hours per week.
