Position Overview:
The Fashion Stylist plays a crucial role in showcasing a wide range of products, particularly focusing on clothing, within our studio environment. This position requires close collaboration with the Lead Stylist and the studio team to effectively convey the brand's visual identity through styling techniques, both on and off the model. The ideal candidate must thrive in a dynamic setting and be adaptable to changes throughout the pre-production and shooting phases. A portfolio showcasing prior styling experience is essential.
This position actively contributes to our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives by seeking ways to enhance the diversity of our product offerings and brand representation. The Stylist will prioritize inclusivity to foster a collaborative culture by eliminating obstacles for our associates and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute high-volume styling on mannequins, achieving a minimum of 45 styled pieces daily with meticulous attention to detail. Collaborate with studio teams to ensure consistent, high-quality product imagery that aligns with our visual standards. Work alongside studio teams to optimize workflow and meet daily styling targets. Adhere to established styling guidelines to proactively identify and address potential issues with samples prior to shooting. Prepare garments for shoots, ensuring they meet established styling and brand criteria. Stay informed about current and newly introduced designers, brands, and collections. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our visual content by experimenting with new styling concepts and techniques in partnership with the Lead Stylist. Assist in the organization and maintenance of the prop closet and studio space. Support the Lead Stylist in training new team members as necessary. Adapt to scheduling changes and manage time effectively to maximize productivity. Keep abreast of the latest tools and techniques in the styling industry. Provide assistance in other catalog operations as needed based on volume demands.Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in a high-end retail fashion or e-commerce environment. A degree or diploma in Photography, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field is advantageous. Familiarity with the Looklet system is a plus. Understanding of garment construction, fabric types, care instructions, and color matching. A passion for and knowledge of current fashion trends. Experience in curating and assembling fashion-forward looks. Proficient steaming and ironing skills, with experience using industrial-grade equipment. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to perform under pressure. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Mac OS. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements throughout a standard shift.Benefits:
