About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team at 14836421 Canada Inc. as a key member of our beauty care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Analyze hair and scalp condition to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatment, including shampooing, conditioning, and styling.
  • Supervise other hair stylists and staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Supervise apprentices/students in training, mentoring them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair, ensuring a high level of safety and quality.
  • Apply hair extensions, using a variety of techniques to achieve a natural look.
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair to create a wide range of looks and styles.
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences, using a deep understanding of beauty and fashion trends.
  • Maintain and order supplies, ensuring that the salon is well-stocked and equipped to meet the needs of clients.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of employment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Required certifications, including a trades certificate or diploma in hair styling/stylist and hair design, or equivalent experience.
