Branch Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our Personal and Commercial Banking team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a medium to large-sized branch, and overseeing a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives and branch goals, including planning and executing business development activities, reviewing and communicating results, and adjusting tactics accordingly.
- Team Management: Manage a medium to large-sized branch/team, providing leadership and guidance to team members, growing team expertise to align with business/enterprise demand and direction, and ensuring colleagues are in compliance with all human resources policies, procedures, and guidelines of conduct.
- Risk Management: Protect the interests of the organization by identifying and managing risks, escalating non-standard, high-risk transactions/activities as necessary, and maintaining a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.
- Compliance: Oversee management of team requiring workforce to decision on acceptable level of risk, and ensure colleagues understand and apply bank operating policies and procedures.
- Community Involvement: Actively promote the Bank's image within the community through participation and leadership in community business groups, initiatives, fundraisers, etc.
- Undergraduate degree and/or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) course
- Deep expert process management knowledge and deep expert knowledge of the risk profile for team processes
