About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources professional to join our team at Newcrest Mining Limited.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the Human Resources department, ensuring the effective management of employee relations, talent development, and organizational health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead and manage the HR team to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive business outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Provide guidance on employment relationships, grievances, and disciplinary matters
  • Lead the implementation of HR systems and processes
Requirements
  • Post-graduate degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Chartered Professional of Human Resources designation (CPHR) is considered an asset
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in mining and understanding of Project Management is an asset
  • Demonstrates people leadership skills
  • Solid understanding of HR and Labour Relations practices
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative
