Billing and Service Administrator Job Description

At Belcan, we are seeking a highly skilled Billing and Service Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for the development of service administration and billing for both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the development of service administration and billing processes.
  • Field and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administration duties for the Service Department, including maintenance of customer relations and issuance/receiving of purchase orders.
  • Opening and closing of work orders, scheduling of work for technicians, and timecard entry.
  • Warranty administration and maintenance of customer records.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of related experience in service administration, parts, supply chain, or product support operations in an office setting.
  • Knowledge of Heavy Equipment, truck, coach, generators, and Marine industry is an asset.
  • Proficient in computers with knowledge of ERP systems, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Parts department knowledge of heavy equipment, truck, coach, marine, industrial, or generator.
  • Basic understanding of business principles, including WIP and sales tracking.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
