About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operations Manager to join our team at Kleenway Building Maintenance Services Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our commercial facilities, ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities, including the management of staff, budgets, and resources.
  • Customer Service: Identify customers' needs and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility, including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
  • Facilities Management: Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Sales and Marketing: Promote sales to existing clients, recommend products or services to customers, and identify and solicit potential clients.
  • Staff Management: Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff, including maintenance and repair personnel.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Plan and manage the facility's operations budget, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Administrative Services: Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.
  • Quality Control: Monitor safety conditions, monitor and inspect work, and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operations Manager who has a strong background in operations management, customer service, and facilities management. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, operations management, or facilities management.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, large workload, repetitive tasks, sitting, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, organized, reliability, team player, accurate, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, positive attitude, and punctuality.
