Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities
  • Identify customers' needs and develop strategies to meet them
  • Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
  • Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate
  • Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify potential new clients
  • Recommend products or services to customers and develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits
  • Deliver sales presentations and estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
  • Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services and consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs
  • Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff
  • Plan and manage the facility's operations budget
  • Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal
  • Monitor safety conditions and monitor and inspect work
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
