We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist II to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will play a key role in providing consultation and assessment services to children and adolescents with complex mental health issues and associated developmental, cognitive, and behavioral disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultation and assessment services to children and adolescents with complex mental health issues and associated developmental, cognitive, and behavioral disorders.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for occupational therapy services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in program development and operational planning to ensure effective service delivery.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
- Knowledge of DSM-V diagnosis and brain story certification preferred.
- Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders and psychosis preferred.
