As a key member of our team, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our clients, while also promoting a positive and inclusive living environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide overnight support to individuals with ASD, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Monitor clients' overnight status and report any notable occurrences or changes in behavior.
- Respond to emergencies and crises in a calm and professional manner, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless support and care for clients, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
- Document client interactions, incidents, and other relevant information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Completion of a Human Services Diploma or equivalent, or one year of related experience supporting individuals with ASD.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, and sound judgment in crisis situations.
- Ability to complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification, First Aid/CPR, and other required training.
- Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle, with proof of third-party liability insurance coverage.
