Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Planner to join our Facilities Maintenance Department at the Vancouver Airport Authority. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective maintenance of our airport facilities and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with various stakeholders, including maintenance crews, operations teams, and external contractors.
  • Asset Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of all airport assets, including equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, forecasts, and accrual reports to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on the use of maintenance management software, including Maximo.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or certificate in a related field, such as engineering, technology, or business.
  • Experience: At least five years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination, preferably in a similar airport or industrial setting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in maintenance management software, including Maximo.

We offer a competitive salary range of $86,326 to $112,823 per annum, based on a 40-hour work week, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, and a generous retirement savings matching program.
