Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lubrication Technician to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lubrication and Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is properly lubricated to meet industry standards and OEM specifications.
  • Equipment Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment to identify potential issues and develop maintenance plans.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of lubricants, filters, and repair parts to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other maintenance team members, leads, and supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless operations.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Must be a fully licensed industrial millwright with experience in lubrication programs in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Be able to read and understand blueprints, P&ID's, equipment manuals, and other relevant materials. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Certifications: Possess or have the ability to pass Level 1 Machinery Lubricant Technician Exam (MLT I) or the Level 1 Machinery Lubrication Analyst Exam (MLA I) as provided by the International Council of Machinery Lubrication within one year.
