C&A Group is actively recruiting skilled Pipefitters/Plumbers to join our dynamic team of Mechanical professionals in a rapidly expanding industry.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious individual to perform a variety of tasks related to pipe fabrication, installation, and maintenance. The successful candidate will have functional knowledge of operations including process piping systems, steam, water, air, gas, sanitary, and hydraulics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and equipment according to manufacturer's instructions and project specifications.
  • Read and interpret mechanical, structural, and architectural drawings, blueprints, and project schedules.
  • Plan, execute, and supervise projects in a professional manner, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Lead production and installation teams, coordinate with clients and sub-trades, and troubleshoot problems that occur.
  • Train apprentices in pipe fabrication and installation techniques, ensuring a high standard of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Knowledge of Safety & Quality Codes relevant to pipe fabrication (B31.3, CSA Natural Gas and Propane Installations B149-15, 2020 Alberta Plumbing Code).
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural, and architectural drawings, blueprints, and project schedules.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven individual with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
