Role OverviewWe are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright to join our team at Sunrise Poultry Processors Ltd., one of the largest individual chicken processing plants in Western Canada. The successful candidate will possess prior experience in a factory environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure seamless production
- Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment across the plant
- Install new equipment and perform fabrication and welding tasks as needed
- Conduct electrical and boiler checks to ensure a safe working environment
- Upgrade plumbing and machinery to meet daily production targets
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- 5th class power engineering ticket for boiler operations (asset)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in the food industry (asset)
