The Industrial Electrician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and optimize production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of electrical and mechanical components
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with operators and other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless production operations
  • Develop and implement long-term solutions to reoccurring reliability issues
  • Support predictive and preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize production
Requirements
  • Certified Journeyman Electrician (Alberta or Red Seal); certified Power Engineer would be an asset
  • Experience maintaining industrial equipment in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with predictive maintenance, instrumentation, PLC's, and/or VFD's would be an asset
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to prioritize multiple important priorities
  • Able to lift > 50 lbs, walk stairways, bend and twist, and stand up to 12 hours per day
