Principal Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Service Manager to join our team at BHP Group. As a key member of our Service Asset Management team, you will be responsible for defining and coaching global technology service management and work management processes and systems.
Your primary focus will be on monitoring Potash Technology performance to identify opportunities and remove obstacles to streamline execution. You will also coordinate with Technology Service and Work Management teams on global process improvements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in IT service management, with experience in SAP Work Management and related technology systems. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to develop process definitions and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities- Define local requirements for implementation of global technology service management and work management processes and systems.
- Provide coaching and expert advice on global technology service management and work management processes and systems.
- Coordinate and facilitate the Potash CAB (change assessment board).
- Measure departmental performance and effectiveness of global technology service management and work management processes (service level metrics, failed changes, etc.).
- Engage with global process and systems owners to provide suggestions and improvements to global technology service management and work management.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, IT, or Trade equivalent.
- IT Service Management Framework (ITIL Foundation).
- Experience with SAP Work Management and related technology systems.
- Experience with Service Now (SNoW) Process and Systems.
- Experience managing and facilitating change management and change assessment boards.
- Ability to develop process definitions and process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) across relevant stakeholders to provide quick and accurate responses to all queries and relevant support as required.
