About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Service Manager to join our team at BHP Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in defining and coaching global technology service management and work management processes and systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Defining local requirements for the implementation of global technology service management and work management processes and systems.
  2. Providing coaching and expert advice on global technology service management and work management processes and systems.
  3. Coordinating and facilitating the Potash CAB (change assessment board).
  4. Measuring departmental performance and effectiveness of global technology service management and work management processes (service level metrics, failed changes, etc.).
  5. Engaging with global process and systems owners to provide suggestions and improvements to global technology service management and work management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, IT, or Trade equivalent.
  2. IT Service Management Framework (ITIL Foundation).
  3. Experience with SAP Work Management and related technology systems.
  4. Experience with Service Now (SNoW) Process and Systems.
  5. Experience managing and facilitating Change Management and Change Assessment Boards.
  6. Ability to develop Process Definitions and Process Improvements.
  7. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) across relevant stakeholders to provide quick and accurate responses to all queries and relevant support as required.
