About the Role

This is a key leadership position within the BHP Group, responsible for defining and coaching global technology service management and work management processes and systems. The successful candidate will monitor Potash technology performance to identify opportunities and remove obstacles to streamline execution.

The role will involve:

  1. Defining local requirements for the implementation of global technology service management and work management processes and systems.
  2. Providing coaching and expert advice on global technology service management and work management processes and systems.
  3. Coordinating and facilitating the Potash CAB (change assessment board).
  4. Measuring departmental performance and effectiveness of global technology service management and work management processes (service level metrics, failed changes, etc.).
  5. Engaging with global process and systems owners to provide suggestions and improvements to global technology service management and work management.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and implementing process definitions and process improvements.
  2. Coordinating with technology service and work management teams on global process improvements.
  3. Providing technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders.
  4. Identifying and mitigating risks associated with technology service management and work management processes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will need:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in engineering, IT, or a related field.
  2. IT service management framework (ITIL foundation) certification.
  3. Experience with SAP work management and related technology systems.
  4. Experience with Service Now (SNoW) process and systems.
  5. Experience managing and facilitating change management and change assessment boards.
  6. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) across relevant stakeholders.
