Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Pho Restaurant Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare and submit reports on food quality, customer feedback, and operational performance.
  • Staff Supervision and Development
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
    • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks effectively to ensure efficient use of staff resources.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The role requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
