Job Description
Customer Service Associate
This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a prompt, respectful, and courteous manner within a mailroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and log all incoming items accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Sort, deliver, and process mail and packages throughout the building.
- Sort confidential documents and process them through an insertion machine.
- Work quickly and accurately to meet daily volumes.
- Print, sort, and insert documents, meeting daily volumes.
- Ship various couriers (local, national, and international).
- Handle time-sensitive material and shipping as required at an executive level.
- Assist with other various requests from the executive team.
- Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate level.
- Operate a postage machine and electric pallet jack.
- Fold and insert documents, sort and process mail.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities as needed and required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
- Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed efficiently
- Strong communication skills; able to effectively communicate to all levels of management and customers both written and verbally
- Proficiency with commonly used Microsoft software programs
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task and lift up to 55lbs unassisted
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to interact with diverse people
