Business Development Manager

First National is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating sales and volumes, as well as servicing broker clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with broker clients to increase portfolio volumes and identify new business opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on First National's products, services, and technologies, as well as competitor offerings, to provide expert advice to clients.
- Collaborate with the broker and underwriting teams to resolve any service or underwriting issues that may arise.
- Manage budgets and attend networking events to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare weekly sales logs, expense reports, and quarterly business plans to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Minimum of two years' experience in the mortgage industry.
- University degree preferred, with a focus on Sales or Business, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proven ability to handle difficult customer situations to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
