Position Overview

The Kitchen Manager at Polos Social Lounge will oversee culinary operations, ensuring that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment

This role is situated in a dynamic food service establishment, including:

  • On-site customer service
  • Restaurant operations
  • Catering services
  • Fine dining experiences
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
  • Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for kitchen operations
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and submit operational reports
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays and delivery of food items
  • Establish work schedules for kitchen staff
  • Research and design special event programs
  • Organize buffets and banquets, consulting with clients for events
Supervision

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Safety and Security

Basic security clearance is required for this position.
