Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within food services
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules
- Oversee and coordinate the tasks of staff involved in food preparation and portioning
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, hygiene, and safety protocols
- Assess and forecast ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation
- Recruit and hire food service personnel
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
- Prepare financial plans and cost estimates for the department
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Compile and submit operational reports
- Prepare food order summaries for the culinary team
- Supervise the assembly of meal trays
- Oversee the delivery of food service carts
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff
Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
