Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **Food Service Supervisor** to oversee our culinary operations at 2285991 Alberta Ltd o/a Prime Time Donair & Poutine. This role is essential in ensuring that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Train team members on their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates for operations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile and submit operational reports as required.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Possess knowledge of various culinary styles relevant to our establishment.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervision

Responsible for supervising a team of 1 to 2 individuals.
